About the Festival

Last updated: 2025-09-15

The Fallbrook Film Festival was established in 2000 by a coalition of local filmmakers, educators, and community advocates.

Our Mission

To showcase exceptional independent films, provide a platform for emerging filmmakers, and enrich the cultural life of the Fallbrook community.

A Brief History

In our inaugural year, the festival screened 12 films to roughly 300 people. Today, we present over 80 films annually and welcome 5,000+ attendees.

Our Team

Community Impact

We operate year-round educational programs including filmmaking workshops, free community screenings, and partnerships with the Fallbrook Library and Palomar College.
